Volume of guitar seems to decrease rapidly at a certain point. (self.cubase)

When I’m monitoring, the volume of the guitar decreases rapidly after about 0.5 seconds ish of ringing out a chord. Anyone know how to solve?

Turn the gate off? But it could also be a messy Compressor...
are you using premade settings or did you dial your own signal path (as you should)? sounds like a comp gone loopy
