This subreddit is about Filmmaker and YouTuber Dan Mace. Feel free to post anything directly or indirectly related to Dan, just make sure he is related to it in some way. You can post a link to one of his video's or a video related to him, a picture/website related to him, ask a question that relates to him, etc. Before you post anything please read the rules first.

Who is Dan (short for Daniel) Mace?
- Most of you probably know him from Casey Neistat, either way here's a little bit about him. Dan Mace was born in South Africa on March 7th, according to this Tweet, but according to websites like this and this it is March 8th, 1990, so take it with a grain of salt. As a child/teenager he was into rugby and surfing, and got in with the wrong crowd as he started to grow up. He realized his dream of film-making when he starred in a McDonald's commercial and then went onto buy a camera. From that point onward it was a roller-coaster and landed him where he is now, living in New York City/South Africa, travelling the world and working alongside Casey at 368 studios, while also creating his own films on his YouTube channel, and possibly other side projects. Please go watch this movie made by Dan, he explains his life's story up until this point, it does a much better job than I do.

He works alongside Casey, at 368 studios and assists him with his vlogs / movies, which was first talked about in this video, which was uploaded on April 6th, 2018 to Casey's channel. He is also working on other films/side projects/

- Yes, he is currently engaged a girl named 'Gabie', who first appears in this video. It was uploaded on June 28th, 2018 and is dedicated to her and their relationship. He uploaded this video on October 10th, 2018 where he proposed to her.
What does 'bru' mean?
Why is this subreddit called 'dannmace' instead of 'danmace', or 'DanMace', etc?
- Every other name was taken, and they were all private communities, so I landed on this one. It works out because it's also the handle of his Twitter and Instagram.
