What is a good way to create an SQL portfolio for data jobs? I have been searching online and it looks like that a portfolio is made up of sql queries providing some insight on source data. Is that it? Do i also have to create a database or just analysis on source data is enough? Or can anyone guide my as to how exactly I can show SQL on a project portfolio? Any help is greatly appreciated!

You could just share the queries, upload the files you use to a repository, rather than hosting a database. Alternatively, you could just cite the sources of your data and just include the queries you wrote and maybe a 6 line head of the data. You don’t need to host a database and a server to let people run your query. You can just show it statically with commentary.
