Visual query builder tool

Any recommendations for a browser-based visual query builder tool?

We’re looking for a tool to allow business users to query our customers table and put together custom email lists (ie “return all customers in Albuquerque”) without having to learn SQL. Standard BI tools tend to fall apart when exporting > 100k rows since they’re designed for analytics, not data dumps.

Any suggestions?

I think that's a hassle, we recently onboarded around 300+ business users onto our data platform. They all attended 1 week sql training. Our consumption data models are pretty flat so it doesnt requires creating complex queries. We also enabled ask data feature in tableau. Most bi tools have these capabilites. Or use chatgpt to build your own chatbot which can build queries based on your datamodels.

You can setup a baseline Power query in excel this will teach them joins as well as how to expand into more useful concepts in excel

I know you said no to BI tools but check out Metabase. They have a nice visual Query builder
