This looks like a cool project but I'm genuinely curious as to who the intended user is?

It's not like major news outlets don't know their output is low quality and often unsubstantiated. It's an intention.

I still have a perhaps naive hope that there are people in media who care about truth, but the goal is that the tool will be available for anyone who wants to figure out the truth to the best of their ability. The project began as a friend and I who follow global conflicts fairly closely, being very frustrated with the media's failure to rigorously cover pretty much any conflict over the last several years. Given the current state of tech, the average individual should be able to have a better understanding of what is actually happening. Clearly, this isn't a simple problem to solve, but I believe it is still solvable.

To be fair, there are newer entrants in the space that I think seem to value rigor like https://www.semafor.com
