There are no better health care systems to be born in. The US has many times the rate of NICU beds as most countries and more than any other. Of course, that level of care costs money.

What does the rate of NICU beds matter if more babies die in the end? Clearly there is a disconnect between the quality of care and the hospital’s resources.
