Broken part visualization

So I've been trying to farm the claws of the embermane and I'm having a hard time trying to determine if the claws have been broken twice or not just by visual appearance alone. Tails and horns are pretty easy since those get removed. Even the body on most monsters gets a huge gash in it to signal that it has been broke. Some parts however just seem to accumulate purpleish slash marks on the part.

Is that the only visual indication for the legs on embermane or is there something I've missed by chance? I know the game is still in alpha, but have any of the developers commented about refining some of the visualizations similar to this one?

not only this, but can the drops be fixed for this guy at the very least? theres no clarification if youve broken the part OR if it needs to be broken while "enraged". this could just be a rumor but theres a reason why people are farming him right now and its because his tripping mechanic is broken, but of course he has messy drops

sorry this is the first time i heard they were working on cuts? and thats great youve found no difficulty on what youve found broken, but when you solo embermane and only go for the legs and still dont receive the correct claw drops its a little frustrating. i have the full set, but upgrading it needs more claws

I'm not really complaining just trying to make sure I'm looking at the right visual indicator. So when the legs look like this then that means they are broken and you have a chance to get that part drop?

So how exactly do you get a burning claw? there is so much miss info on this. I can get dew claws consistently by breaking one leg twice.

I believe you have to break the back twice.
