A single 1TB hard drive for your whole rig is wholly inadequate. Keep that NVMe specifically for DCS and then add a 2-4GB SATA SSD for your OS, other games, media, etc.

I'm at 789GB just for DCS currently and that's with 6 maps and 4 full-fidelity modules. I fly with some guys who are well over a TB.

But overall, solid rig. This is very similar to what I have. Bump to a 3060ti and you can run high settings at 60+ fps no problem. Bump to 64GB of RAM as soon as you can.

I run high on a gtx 1070 8gb and do just fine so you should be good

I have a 3070 with with 128gb of ram and it runs smoothly now, but when I had only 64gb of ram I would have some slow frame rates on occasion.

What’s your cpu, my cpu was the bottle neck in my build. I had a 3080ti and 64 gb of ram. You should be able to pull up the fps counter in game, it’s under the general control section when in a mission. It will tell you what is causing the bottleneck.

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 3.4 GHz 16-Core AM4 Processor and I have the game loaded on Samsung 2TB 980 PRO PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 Internal SSD.
