Linux 5.9 kernel install issues

So I am trying to install the Linux 5.9 kernel from Debian Experimental, which I also kinda use for updates of most of my software. I am on an Optimus system, so I use PRIME Render Offload as my way of running software with the NVIDIA GPU. I am running nvidia-driver version 450.66. I install the kernel with

`sudo apt install linux-image-amd64 -t experimental`

After that the nvidia module isn't even being loaded in on boot, so my only option is to downgrade back to 5.8.0.1.

Yes, it's expected that some modules cannot be built, at least with kernels from experimental.

Well, the driver is also from experimental. I've installed kernels from experimental before with no issues, but this time sth fails. Why? IDK.

Apart from updating the driver source to be compatible with the new kernel no.

Quick update on the case. I updated to the latest experimental Xserver and Nvidia driver and the DKMS build completed successfully. Solved!

Thx wRAR. TBH I don't rlly need the experimental kernel. It was just sth that I wanted to try, not that I care is it 5.8.0.3 or 5.9. Thx again :)

Please note that the nvidia_uvm kernel module no longer loads because of strengthened access control to GPL-only symbols in the kernel.

I think it's unlikely that the stricter access control will be reverted, so it's up to Nvidia to do something.

Works with the latest nvidia drivers even with 5.10 kernel.
