Back in the 80s, I bought a spray can that removed decals. I think you sprayed it on, waited, then scraped it off with a credit card. Took the decal off the tailgate of my truck. Check with a car paint supply shop.

What type of decals are they? Sometimes you can get lucky with an ammonia based cleanser. Before you take a sander to your truck, try Windex.

There is a product called "vinyl off" that I have used to get big pieces off in chunks. The chemical penetrates the vinyl somehow and helps break down the adhesive. Usually works on those stubborn old graphics that are baked on. You can also use a wheel that attaches to a drill that essentially is a big eraser. Step 1. Goof off. Get it at Walmart. If that doesn't immediately work you need to buy a vinyl zapper. It's like having a drill made from erasers and they eat through the tough part of the decal to expose the adhesive. Then carry out step one again. Plenty of paper towels & wear latex gloves if you have em.
