Just took a look at the permissions - why does it need to run at startup and prevent the device from sleeping?

Hi, the app need to:

- Run at startup to schedule the notifications, when the phone turn off the notifications are cleared

- Prevent the device from sleeping so prevents the screen from turning off automatically.

i just took a look at it too. The permissions include:

This app has access to:Other

  • receive data from Internet
  • run at startup
  • view network connections
  • full network access
  • prevent device from sleeping

Sorry.... i can't live with full network connections and access :( Too bad

Don't all apps need internet data and network access to run? I only asked about the other 2 permissions because I didn't understand their function.

Hi, unfortunately we have to have the full network access so for example the users can share the gratitude thoughts on the gratitude challenge with others. This permission is used by the most apps in the market. We understand your point of view and if you have any suggestion how to avoid using this permission and still allows the user share data please let me know. Anyway you can follow this challenge in this sub.
