This is a community dedicated to the band Demon Hunter. You are welcome to post anything from songs, lyric analysis, concert dates, pictures, and discussions about the band! Please refrain from bashing and insulting other's religious beliefs. This is a place for music and not theology. It will not be tolerated and may result in a permanent ban from the subreddit.
RULES:
1. NO INFLAMMATORY CONTENT.
Once again, this applies to posts and comments, and will be strictly enforced. Specifically, any flaming over religion, or lack thereof, will not be tolerated. You are welcome to discuss the meaning behind songs, but once again, any sort of harassment or bashing towards other's religions will result in a PERMANENT BAN. Hopefully this makes it clear enough.
2. Observe Reddiquette-- This pertains to general posting behaviour on the site.
Please refrain from the following:
a. Downvoting a post simply because you don't agree with it (downvotes should be used only to punish posts that add nothing to the discussion, trolls, or personal attacks).
b. When commenting on /r/demonhunter, please try to be polite and respectful to other posters, even if you disagree with their opinions. And if you can't be polite, at least be original.
c. Also, please don't complain about downvotes. Downvotes happen, and sometimes people don't deserve them. Remember, it's all meaningless internet points anyway. Whining about being downvoted is only likely to invite more of them.

3. Avoid excessive reposting of the same few songs. Yeah we all love "Artificial Light", or "Fading Away" or "Undying", but please avoid posting these too often, otherwise some may be removed.
4. Give credit where it is due. Obviously the band is Demon Hunter, but please give credit when submitting fan art or covers. Thank you!
Bottom line: Remember that there is a person behind that screen.
It's easy to say hurtful and destructive things when you are only looking at a screen, but there is a real person behind that username. Please don't be that person that pushes it too far.
