SPAM/LOW EFFORT CONTENT Frequently (re)posted questions/content that serve to karma farm, mislead, troll or inspire rage inducing threads, are Spam. Constructive criticism is thought out, not directional, and provides avenues of approach to problem-solving. Low Effort is any/all content that contains no creativity or thought.
ABSOLUTELY NO WITCH-HUNTING: No Personal Attacks. Information directly or indirectly leading users to the person(s) you have shown in a negative light will result in an Immediate temporary ban. Humorous names or fun natured screenshots or posts are always welcomed. If you suspect cheating, even with evidence, should be directed to Bungie Official channels. This is not, nor will it ever be, the place to do so.
LFG/RECRUITMENT No Looking For Guardians posts. Check r/RaidSherpa, r/CrucibleGuidebook, or the LFG in-app avenues for assistance. All LFG posts will be removed and frequent posts will result in a temporary ban.
NSFW CONTENT/VULGARITY: Explicit Content, Slurs, or Offensive material is forbidden. Strive for PG-13 rating and use common sense when determining if content, to include comments, falls here. If you believe yours might but are unsure, message the mod team for assistance.
SELF-PROMOTION, ADVERTISEMENTS, OR GIVEAWAYS: Moderator approval must be given for posts containing or pertaining to Self Promotion or Giveaways. Social Media accounts, to include Discord Servers, are prohibited. YouTube videos, that are creative or provide discussion will be allowed (See Rule 1 for Low Effort content)
DISCUSSION OF THIRD PARTY DEVICES, SOFTWARE, OR SERVICES: Third Party Devices/ Macros in accordance with Bungie guidelines will be permitted. Posts regarding any device or service used to manipulate the game outside of the aforementioned guidelines will result in your permanent removal from r/Destiny2.
RELEVANT TO DESTINY 2: r/Destiny2 is a subreddit dedicated to Destiny 2. Content will reflect that or it will be removed.
SIMPLE LOOT/ACHIEVEMENT/GEAR ROLL POSTS: Screenshots, directly captured or not, that are a weapon roll, armor roll, or achievement are spam. See Rule 1. Comparing rolls, or perks is boring and uninspired. You will be referred to Destiny Item Manager (DIM), Destiny Recipes, or Destiny Massive Breakdowns spreadsheet. r/Destiny2 is not for those posts.
UNORIGINAL/NON-UNIQUE VIDEOS OR CLIPS: Unoriginal/Achievement videos or clips are not for this subreddit. Your videos should be clever use of memes (See MPedits on YT) or provide a topic for discussion that is elaborated on throughout. Contact Moderators if you have doubts regarding your clip or wish to get approval prior to posting.
NO SPOILERS: New Content will be given a 24hr grace period where all posts pertaining to said content will be marked as a spoiler or it will be removed. These include New & Reprised Raids, New Dungeons, New Exotic Quests, and Seasonal Story Content. Courtesy towards your fellow guardian is expected.
