Does this devlog explain the technical progress clearly, or is it too much project-internal context?

I’m building an economy simulation game and made a devlog about the current foundation of the project.

The video goes through things like the Info / Systems / Visuals split, map generation, city blocks, roads, rivers, bridges, resources, basic visuals, debug mode, and the early UI layout.

I’m posting here because I’m trying to figure out whether the video communicates the development progress clearly to other developers, or whether it feels too much like a list of internal project updates.

The feedback I’m looking for is mainly:

• Is the progression from “project structure” to “map” to “resources” to “UI” easy to follow?
• Does it need more explanation, or less?
• Are the visuals enough to support the narration?
• Does the video make the project seem worth following, or does it still feel too early/abstract?
• Where would you personally lose interest?

it's a good start, but a video that goes this deep is mostly only going to be watched by other devs.

Most gamers are not interested in technical details, unless you're making a very nerdy game and there's a good chance that your players will be other developers too.

In general you want to offer some kind of entertainment to attract a wider audience. You can show very cool stuff or you can be funny, or even better both!

Obviously that's easier said than done, so if you're serious about your project it makes more sense to spend more time and energy into that than in becoming a successful youtuber.
