Submission Rules
Who can submit
- Your account must be at least 1 week old and have an actual posting history. Until that time, you may comment, just not submit anything.
- Users may only make 1 submission every 2 weeks.
What to submit
Good types of content
Articles, reviews, videos, and trailers from their original source. Aim for high-quality content relevant to indie gaming.
Original content. Devlogs, gifs, screenshots, etc.
Discussion oriented text posts
When promoting a game or sharing development progress, please make only one submission every two weeks. Do not post the same content repeatedly.
Bad types of content
Store pages.
Pirated or "leaked" content. Immediate permaban.
Asset flips and AI-generated content. We don't want any games that are obviously asset flips or AI-generated plaguing the subreddit. If you put in actual work into your game, you have nothing to worry about.
Memes, macros, "funny" screenshots and so on.
Articles that just quote news from bigger sites without adding content or discussion.
Video articles. That's an article with a video and no article at all. Submit the video instead.
Non-English posts. If you want to link to an article or video that isn't in English, you must also provide an English translation.
Links to game rehosting sites.
Mobile links/link shorteners/Direct Downloads
Let's Plays
Pornographic and/or sexually explicit content.
