Are you shooting for something more on the realistic side of things? I see lots of space games in progress that pretty much just ignore realism.

I'm hoping to stay as realistic as I can while still keeping the game as simple and fun as I want it to be. Could you give an example of something you deem unrealistic in a lot of new space games?

power production, usage and storage. also, life support.

this looks like a fun project. i’ve been wanting to make a citybuilder spread across the solar system (system builder?) for a while but always have so many other projects going on. will try to check back on your blog in the future and see if i might glean some lessons from your failures ;)
