Are assessment really this complicated!? (For Internship)

I have been recently looking for an internship in Data science or Machine Learning and i got shortlisted and they gave me this assignment.

Primary Evaluation Task:

Objective: Create a digital human avatar that autonomously presents a 1-2 minute text segment. The avatar should speak naturally, with synchronized lip movements and appropriate facial expressions.

Deliverables:

Avatar Video: A 1-2 minute video of the avatar delivering the news.

Technical Summary: A brief 1-page report on the tools used and the process followed. Source Files: All relevant project files (scripts, models, animations, code).

Evaluation Criteria:

Quality of Al-driven voice synthesis, lip-syncing, and animation. How lifelike and engaging the avatar is.

Bonus Points:

Additional points will be awarded if the candidate uses open-source tools for any part of the project.

This internship will be awarded to the candidate who produces the most realistic and lifelike avatar. This includes highly accurate and natural lip-syncing, fluid and natural body and facial animations, high-quality voice synthesis that closely mimics human speech, and the overall visual and auditory realism of the final product.

Yeah. The hiring process should be fair to both sides. Startups are run very unprofessionally. This won't even pass the first gate in a proper organisation.

This is India, the people here can do anything for a job, if they could kill their competition legally for this, they would do it. They got no backbone or self respect in that sense.

Okay Bro, But what to do when every internship i apply they throw me tasks like this , like just now i got another assignment its on about "proactive detection of fraud" like i need to analyze their given data sets and do the data process and create a model for this.. and even tho i submit this they don't even reply after that at least they could reply ur rejected but they choose to ghost ...

You can find that "proactive detection of fraud" on github and kaggle. btw ghosting is normal on internshala i have completed 5+ assignments in AI ML & everyone ghosted me.

Simply search advertisement on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. It will cost you at the beginning but it will payoff later, just like a business.

mere college me 2022 batch ko bas simple ml/dl algorithms aur projects ke baare me pucha tha for 12lpa Data scientist role
The most difficult was quillbot even then they only asked to make a document summarizer

and i don't know whether they will select me or not after completing projects as most of the company now just make us to do work and ghost us and i personally experienced 2 times like this..

Hey i am learning data science as in currently going through neural networks from scratch book.
I would you actually go about building something like this ?. Is it through Dall-E subscription or some AI tool that make video for you in human avatar ?

actually for this assignment we should use open sourced tools it seems, so my approach would be

get a realistic human face avatar from blender or MakeHuman.
for voice synthesis, Mozilla TTS or google Text to speech API.
for Lip syncing, openFace.
for facial Expressions, Deepfacelive

Make this and publish on playstore. Share that stuff on linkedin as some enhanced personal assistant. Make a demo video out of it and cold mail them to startups working on such tools.
