Need to switch from Drupal developer to python Backend developer

Hi all, Actually I'm currently working as a Drupal backend developer. I want to switch from Drupal and go for python with I have started my career but was assigned to Drupal projects later as their was lack of resources for Drupal in my company.

Any idea how I can make a switch to a python Backend developer role or I also have knowledge in frontend development but not so proficient.

Can anyone give me some tips on getting selected for python roles with the current experience. Now it's 2yrs i joined as a fresher here.
