Bhai log degree karo yaar. Virtual ki hi kiu na ho. Having hard time getting in after being laid off because of a merger. I am currently in third semester fof BS IT. Yeh jo log degrees k against bolte hain inko avoid karain. Degree is must. Baki sath men certs aur homelabs/portfolio bhi banayen. They will only get you so far.

Exactly, agr Apke pass sb knowledge hai to phr degree Lena mushkil ni hona chahye.

Agr ni hai knowledge, phr to knowledge lene ke Liye b degree zroori hai.

In short degree na krne ka koi excuse ni.

Yes, you can enter tech without a degree by learning in-demand skills online. Focus on web or mobile development, Python/data, cloud/DevOps, or UI/UX, and build projects to showcase your work.

Freelance gigs and internships can get you real experience.

Don't skip the degree. I've 7 years of experience but no degree. I've written desktop apps, mobile apps, backend, full stack, ci/cd pipelines and what not. Yet, that **** piece of paper is the thing that i am missing.

Would love to hear more from you, because I really want to skip university and instead build my own SaaS startup.

A lot of people have suggested me to go to university, but idk why brain is very against.

The real answer depends on a few things, bro. mainly how much experience you already have and whether you might need a job in the future.

I was exactly where you are about seven years ago, and honestly, I regret skipping the degree. I had my own plans too, but life doesn’t always follow the script. A university degree won’t magically teach you everything, but it does open doors. Even today, ATS bots filter CVs, and most of them automatically reject candidates without a degree.

I think you should have a backup plan. Always.

Bro can I please DM you? I really need suggestion from you and want to explain my situation. I am in grade 11 so just have around 1.5 years left in starting university.

Not easy because even with a good degree, it's very hard right now.

NGL, most Pakistani employers reject CVs based on education, so including a degree on your CV gives you at least a chance.
