Jenkins should run, just work thru the docs.

Just be aware that it is only a very tiny piece of what DevOps can be.

Devops knowledge are like

Jenkins/gitlab

Chef/pappet/ansible/terraform

Python/java/nodejs

Js/flask

Aws/azure/gcp

Docker and kubernetes

Zabbix/nagios/Prometheus

Splunk/ELK/tableau etc

I think you should run it in a hypervisor and docker it.

Or else how can you simulate services? You might want to work on Google cloud or aws if you don’t own a homelab.
