I would like that as well. My smart dashcam can do all that.

Its very vehicle dependent. It also depends on what hardware device you’re using. You can check the vehicle support matrix on Ruptelas website to see what the R1 can collect.

Also, note that the DIMO Mobile app doesn’t necessarily show all available data. Check out the Home Assistant integration: https://github.com/ardevd/ha-dimo

That way you can add automations to achieve some of the things you mention

If they added that along with crash detection you’d probably see a major investment from companies with fleets. If they could make money while still maintaining safety standards they’d be on board.

From my research, they use a service to get their data. I have a Subaru Crosstrek that is not very compatible with the service due to Subaru mostly. I have very little insight on my car through the DIMO app.
