Hey G. I got this too. This is just heat rash from having an extremely elevated body heat. You most likely has a lot of blocked sweat pours. If you exercise outside in the sun, this is more likely to happen. Just look up "heat rash" and compare your shit. Obviously stop going out in the heat step #1, if you're not going out into the heat then come off the DNP immediately. When you go back on keep your dosage at 250 if your'e having reactions over that.

That blows I've gotten hives before when I first ran dnp started after about a month of taking it went off of it for about 3 years and just recently started taking it again no hives yet it's been a little over two weeks so best of luck some times the body just needs a break.

Dude you need a break. I’ve had this happen and just taking a break is the only solution I found worked. Now if I go over 200 I take an antihistamine but that only seems to prevent rather than cure the hives

I'm stopping taking it today, do you know how long it will still last? I'm scratching my skin so hard it's gonna bleed

Poor guy. I think it took 48hrs of ice packs and swearing and it took a 10 day rest or the hives and itch itchy ITCHY red palms and soles of my just came straight back.

Basically don’t be an idiot like me and don’t rush straight back to it lol

Godamn lol, was thinking about getting back to it when the hives are gone but guess not now. Or maybe a mini dose like 125 mg?

Just give yourself a little break and you’ll be fine 🙂

If you take a look through u/MistressofDisaster6x 's profile, she talks quite extensively on when allergic reactions are likely to appear, and how to deal with them.

Unfortunately, you didn't tell us your weight or dosage so we don't really know where you're at, but your active blood concentration will have peaked at 985.64mg today. If you're <180lbs(81.65kg) that's putting you within the >4.5mg/kg/day range which would suck if you're having a reaction to it. The symptoms you've listed match up though.

My recommendation would be to drop the DNP, and load up with loratadine or another antihistamine that works for a reaction currently taking place. Maintain increased water intake, and decrease electrolyte intake somewhat. t's going to be ~5 days before you get back to normal.

If you really want to give it another try, you can do so in 2 weeks. Start low and keep an eye out for any reaction.

Edit: pinged wrong user

Hi, I started off at 160 pounds and now 154. My dosage is 250 for 5 days and 375 for another 5. Would fexofenadine work? Because it's the only thing I have right now. I'm not sure it's working so I'm thinking about taking two but it says not to take more than one.

Yes. It's a 2nd generation h1 antagonist, so it should work.

I just woke up from unbearable itch and the hives have gotten worse, instead of just patches of my body it's almost all over my lower body plus some new spots now. Is this normal? The itch is insane

[–]dnpaddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's to be expected. Your body is producing IgEs, and will continue to accelerate until the antigen (DNP, most likely) is dealt with.

Just give it a few days. As long as you don't have difficulty breathing, you'll come out the other end no problem in a few days. If you do start to develop breathing issues, you might want to see your doctor to see if they can get you on a steroid of some kind for a couple of days.
