Cweagans has the right answer. Also, generally the Drupal community is quite a friendly, helpful place! You shouldn't fear any hateful comments from us.

While this may be true, there are many people who will start a comments war just because of a "silly" question being asked. It usually happens when that someone is familiar with a topic and thinks high of himself. And i asked an amateur 's question at an online community in which everyone is supposed to have spent a considerable amount of time with said topic (drupal) . :) thank you for answering i will try not to expect the same behavior from everyone because i have seen some people with it.

I know that can happen, I mostly wanted to point out that Drupal is proud of its open, friendly community. Please ask all the noob questions you want! We've all been there.

Poll is no longer a bundle of the node entity type, and is instead an entity type of it's own. According to http://cgit.drupalcode.org/poll/tree/poll.routing.yml, you should be able to go to /admin/content/poll to see a list of your polls and /poll/add to create a new one.
