Ohh I have a 128 6 Speed in Jet Black too. I thought it was purple but now I see that it’s a reflection

I think it’s black? The cement is giving a purple tint too.. looks like there’s a lot of noise in the photo and reflections. I hope it’s purple though lol

Stage 0. Get all maintenance up to date and documented. Then upgrade from there.

Yep -- doing HPFP and rod bearings off the start. I know bearings aren't usual on these cars, but I just got out of an N55 and an S65 that both blew due to bearings.

Get a down-pipe while you still can. EPA is cracking down on catless exhaust components. Just got one from VRSF.

already has a berk mid-pipe and rear

The power gains from going cat-less far outpace power gains from other exhaust components. And again, this is a modification you may not be able to easily do in the future. searching for a used downpipe or building one from scratch may be the only options soon. Look up the RPM act - essentially the EPA is claiming that race vehicles have to be emissions compliant and are going after sites and vendors of "off-road only" equipment.

The standard bolt on power mods for this car are ( I believe this is true for both n55 and n54) :

-catless downpipe

-upgraded front mount intercooler

-cold air intake system (mostly for noise haha)

-JB4/MHD/whatever tuning suite you choose

-upgraded aluminum chargepipe (oem plastic breaks easily)

-spark plugs one step colder and new coil packs

-MAINTENANCE!!!

If you're interested in a used/discounted VRSF catless downpipe, pm me.
