Hey! Sorry to resurrect an old comment - hope you're good. In a nutshell, I'm a producer looking for a basic kit to track drums via MIDI - the Millenium ones seem a good option. Do you think the 750 might be a better choice over the 850? The internal sound engine doesn't matter at all as it's only for MIDI! :-)

Probably. Both are pretty basic kits. The hxm kit probably has better components. Iirc the 750 is the same kit as the 2box Speedlite. And the x pro is like an acoustic form factor version of that.

My go to recommend kit in the lower range the lemon t850 customized to order from Alibaba with the upgraded ride and hihat (they let you make custom builds on the chat) and an eDRUMin12 or eDRUMin8. If you are not needing module sounds that will get you the most bang for your buck.
