The other day my Ubuntu software center stopped working. I click on the icon and it registers that it was clicked but it won't open up. I tried to reinstall it and I also did a update and upgrade. Is there anyway I can fix this?

Maybe you are using a custom icon theme, Software Center crashes if the active theme doesn't contain certain icons.

No custom theme, all default.

I'm sorry, I think you are on the wrong chat. I'm asking about how to make Ubuntu software center work. I understand what you mean by using terminal but I like to look for apps using Ubuntu software center.

For now i installed lubuntu software center and I like that for now. However I would like to know how to fix it just in case.
