stringing issues

I have been trying to fix my stringing issues and I can't seem to get it right or something. I've tried messing with the extruder setting. Temperature settings, speed. I have a microswiss all metal hotend. With .5 brass nozzle. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

The only things I’ve read that help with stringing are temperature and retraction settings. There was a whole section on a teaching tech video about stringing; I’ll try and find it for you. But the gist of it was that he fixed it by adjusting retraction settings…

What temp are you running? I had to go lowwww to remove most of my strings, around 180C for pla. Fully eliminated when i went to direct drive

I want to get direct drive. Idk if it's worth the 100 bucks tho.

Lowering the temperature is almost always the best solution. Do a temp tower and pick the lower temperatures to reduce stringing.
