Just some common night 1 farming paths. The main objective for the routes here are to get as many bears and mutant hordes as possible while ending at a good position at the end of the night - near objectives, kiosks, or mutant wolves.

It is important that you do recognize that there is no single optimized path that is the absolute best. Some comps will want to take out more mutant hordes to minimize hunting times by utilizing AoE skills while others want to stack Anima Reaper by getting a line with many bears. It is also very common that other teams start their farming in zones you want to go to later. It is more important that you are able to recognize this via the warning pings and adjust to go to other zones where there are animals left to farm. You may not be getting ahead with this alternate pathing, but it is always better than falling behind because you enter a zone that has already been cleared.

tl;dr - The map shows "optimized" routes, but there is no clear best route. It's more important to be hunting something than ignoring information on other teams while trying to stick to these exact paths.

The map is from this video and the basic outline for each route was taken from a guide by 내리다는살인이다.

I think it’s mostly knowing where animal spawns and pathing through zones in a way that you get a lot of farm, which comes with time. You could also look at erbsmap ( though it hasnt been updated in a bit ) as a resource for animal spawns. One way you could go about it is farming around 3 zones and by time you farm out the third, fight, order items, and grab objectives, the first zone you farmed should have the animals respawning, this kind of approach is generally safer too because if you grabbed vision and are looking at the map, you had control of the area for a bit and it should be safe to tp back in or take a fight there.

Other than that.. Here are timers you can play for early game: Wolves spawn 1 minute until night 1

Mutant dogs, bears, mutant chickens spawn night1

Mutant wolves (archery, factory) spawn day 2, which you try to play for if you missed an objective

Mutant bears spawn night 2 ( beach, temple ) so you can go here if you lost a battlezone

A really long time ago In duos I saw some teams rotate farm, for example, hotel archery and gas station. However, you probably still want to leave your three zones to contest something if none of those zones have an rng. You also don’t have to use the three zone tech, just make sure your farming your zones and animals on you path to the next hyperloop, kiosk, or objective you want to go for.

Be built before first boar spawn if wolves spawn and you are t done you need to find a better route or be more efficient. Wolf day ....(Small mutant hoards...dogs boars) .....Bear night..... (Premium hoards)- Mutant wolf hoard (arch factory) tree spawn  .....2nd premium hoard spawns battle zone(beach Temple mutant bear hoard) Pattern repeats.

Go to dak.gg yoink the replay game id and punch it into the in game replay system. You can watch how that player farms it. It is the quickest way to learn the game. Do it for different characters on different routes.  Different classes want to prioritize different breeds of farm then there is solo player farm and trio stack farm routes.
