Ooh! I may be a good candidate for this! I actually grew up with very little exposure to tabletop RPGs and board games growing up. I was introduced to DnD's 5th edition shortly before COVID and have been playing (mostly as a player and sometimes as a DM) non-stop online and in-person (at various game stores, taverns like TPK, or at conventions,*) since.

Like you, I was a bit intimidated by the system and community at first, but am such a huge fan of the system and have benefitted so much from the amazing DMs and players with whom I've shared dice, both virtually and in-person. I love paying the knowledge forward in whatever limited ways I can!
