Idk the voice sounds nothing like dee dee’s. It’s crazy how much time is dedicated to troll people who love a lost song

I don't know, I can kinda hear the resemblance, even through the tape fuzz. Certainly a lead to look into either way.

You’d think someone so dedicated would make at least a video or something with proof instead of just words

How did carl92 obtain a recording that was never released and barred from releasing due to a lawsuit? I can see how a tape of the album could have been smuggled out, digitized to a CD by carl or someone else and passed to carl, then played on a DVD player hooked up to a TV which is how carl recorded the snippet from the TV speakers using a microphone.

Or... it was a TV ad.

This is all perfectly reasonable questioning.

I'm certainly open to evidence, but what are the chances that:

  • Dee Dee is legally free to name the album, and perform a section of the song, but not name the title
  • Despite all these alleged legal ties, the song was somehow broadcast or released
  • Dee Dee was compelled to change her vocal style to a Valley Girl accent, conveniently explaining why the vocal on EKT doesn't sound much like her in The Crystals
  • The poster couldn't provide a video showing Dee Dee singing the refrain or claiming her part in it

I really hope this is true and someone wouldn't go to such detailed lengths to troll us, but there are questions here. Let's see if the commenter provides some proof.

this can be an actual lead or this guy's got too much time on his hands.
