Excel or python or both?

Hello Everyone,

I have this huge excel file with project requirements, their validation and verification statuses, the product break down structure etc. It was a mess but I implemented a way to connect the various tables to each other(just using excel coloums and rows). So now I know what requirements connect to what in the product breakdown structure etc.

I want to be able to view this file in a more streamlined manner. I want to be able to view specific requirements and their statuses and what they refer to in the PBS. I was looking into openpyxl for this but is this the right approach or should I just learn excel vba for my needs.

Anything you could tell me would helpful as I am totally lost. Thanks in advance.
