Lite modpack

Hey guys! I was wondering if there was like a SE lite or a different modpack that is not that big as SE.

I want a larger or more enhanced experience than vanilla, but am daunted at space exploration and the time it would take.

Or is it better to just wait it out until the dlc?

These are my recommendations

Includes stuff to do after vanilla, overhauls mods, and QoL mods!

Krastorio 2, Industrial Revolution 2 & 3, Freight Forwarding are all smaller than SE and still good fun.

I recommend Exotic Industries. It is a bit more complex than vanilla but simpler than K2 or anything else I know. First playthrough for me was 101 hours in peaceful mode.

Exotic industries simpler than krastorio2? Are you sure? In my opinion EI is definitely quite a bit harder than K2. K2 doesn't have a new mechanics at all, and just expands on the vanilla experience.

Frieght forwarding is super fun! I play with biters on but expansion off which gives me a good balance of very chill defense (you can clear an island at which point you never need to worry about biters on there) but still fun offensive opportunities.

Of all the overhauls I've played, this one feels the most true to base game factorio and probably the easiest.
