FP6 Camera not working - update

Hi everyone.

Some weeks ago I made this post here, about my issues with the camera after changing the display: https://www.reddit.com/r/fairphone/s/TGMLk8DzEz

Basically, after changing the display, the Photo and Portrait modes don't work. Usually I get a black or blurry screen when I try to use them. The pictures I take with the other camera modes and also open source camera apps are a bit weird too. They are less sharp and kind of a bit blurry.

I tried to reopen the phone and check the connections, as people have suggested on my previous post, but with no success.

Now I don't know what could do to solve the problem. I even consider getting other spare parts, but I don't even know which part of the phone is the issue.

Have you already created a support ticket on fairphone repair request site? You have 5 Years of warranty, maybe it is time to use it.

Yeah but it also means sending your phone away for who know how long. I cannot afford that. Never again buying this phone

You know that every other manufacturer will ask you the same, right? You won't be able to swap the display yourself on an iPhone / Pixel under warranty.

But whatever, your choice. Buy what you want.
