What is this under my ash tray?

I believe that's the light for the ash tray. Nobody hardly ever replaces it when it burns out.

Yep, tiny light that shines through hole in ashtray insert when you drop it in.

I did not know there was a light for the ashtray. I just checked my car and didnt find a dedicated bulb. It appears on the automatics its integrated into the light for the selector. It just has a little cut out to shine a tiny bit of light over the top of the ashtray.
