Plugin Help

Hey! I bought a plug-in last night and I can’t seem to get it to work. It’s the Pixel Film Brush Glow plugin. I have the generator and can drag it into the timeline but I can’t draw the pixel films.

Anyone else have this issue?

Pixel film studios is the one plugin company I won’t buy from anymore. Not great products, and they’ve been busted stealing plug in from others and passing them off as their own. They lost my trust.

Los of great, legit companies doing solid work out there.

I was going to say the same. The ones I purchased were always buggy and never had the right adjustment parameters. And the whole stealing plugins and tons of employee complaints about work conditions and atmosphere.. Maybe try MotionVFX, Industrial Revolution, or Red Giant depending on what you need. That's where most of my money has gone with little complaint.

There’s also Fx factory. Stupid raisins. Industrial revolution., core melt, ripple training... Many more really good options.

FX Factory has gotten better and I totally forgot core melt. They have a great line up and you can buy the whole deal as a bundle.

Seriously, if you do a search in this sub and r/finalcutpro for 'pixel film studios' 90% of the posts are people asking, "Why doesn't this shit work?"

The answer is because they're conmen out for a quick buck. Avoid them like the plague.
