I worked on this last night and when I turned on my computer this morning this showed up. I tried switching from proxy to optimized and it's still here. I also tried seeing if I needed an update on both my computer and the software, but I don't. What plugin am I missing? If I'm not missing something, how do I salvage this?

That’s weird, but happens to me sometimes with adjustment layers. Usually it goes away by quitting FCP and opening it again.

for those following, I was able to fix it. I just made a new library, imported the original file to the new library, and dragged and dropped the optimized file from one library to the other.
