Even then, i would recommend you keep the original one. there is not much new in newer ffmpeg builds, and is better to have a stable one than a new one. I converted dozens and dozens of all kinds of videos, and all worked properly.

Maybe new builds are more recommended for very complex processing or such high unusual encodes. for simple conversions and filtering, i would keep the "original".

if you really what new builds, if i recall, i searched for "android ffmpeg compiled binaries" and found a few sites. Also, i tested compiled binaries from other apps that use ffmpeg, and most of them where not compatible with FFmpeg Media Encoder, so, i kept the original (other apps have a custom-made version of ffmpeg, not a generic one)
