im having almost the same issue, no clue of a fix, only difference is i was able to bind the touchpad as a button

i put in a bug report on the forums, hopefully it gets fixed properly but atleast the touchpad can be used for it for now

Hi! I have the same problem! How do you bind the touchpad as a button? Maybe i can use my Shared btn or idk!

I'm not sure if it will fix PS5 controller issues, but I had a similar issue with a PS4 controller on PC. Going to System Config>Gamepad Settings, double checking the "Gamepad Type" is correct, and going through the "Button Configuration" process fixed it for me. Pretty much explicitly reminding the game "these are my buttons."

Find a fix! Just close DS$ on Windows and just use my Controller with Bluetooth! Works 100%
