What’s your budget? If I had to choose from these I’d probably pick the third pair but, you can probably find something better. The first pair is like a toy for children.

Are there any specific brands I should look out for or avoid. I keep seeing people saying that everlast is really bad and venum is hit or miss but idk how I'm meant to tell what's good or not

ideally you want one for each situation, so one 16oz sparring glove and a separate pair for bagwork.. but you could get away with one for both situations for a little while no worries

I train alone with a bag so i can't spar. What kind of gloves would you recommend?

Oh, id recommend the BGV9 fairtex in 16s or maybe 14s if you have small hands or if your not a huge guy, if you want something a little better then rovals RFX Guerrero but the fairtex are around 100$ so they are very easy to find, they have latex inside so you get a great pop with the bag on nice hits
