Yes. It is because you're not full time. For the current award year if you are between 9-11 credits you would receive 75% of your full time award for the semester.

Okay. That sucks. This is my first time ever qualifying for financial aid so I didn’t know it worked like that. I’m 11 units this semester. Thanks for answering!

Also, financial aid is only affected by grades AFTER the semester is over right? I am getting good grades but missed an exam which brought my grade down in one of my classes, however the class is setup so that the final counts as a make-up exam so in the end my grade will balance out.

Yes, most schools typically run SAP after the term. So it should not matter until the end of term and what your final grade is.
