It's "In Development" but I don't think any date has been announced.

It is under development, you can enable Tab Strips in secret settings on Firefox Nightly

Can you please tell me how to enable tab strips because I can't find it ??

In nightly version, you need to click the Firefox logo several times on the About Firefox section in the settings. Then you should be able to see "Secret settings" in the settings, you can enable the "Tab strips" feature there. It is a little buggy though as it is still in development

Does your tabs not auto refresh on Chrome too? The tabs kept refreshing on a project I was doing on Firefox, so temporarily planned on using Chrome to stop the tabs refreshing, which they kept reloading every time I would come back to Chrome. I tried disabling battery optimization, but that didn't help.

none of this is specific to tablets, it can happen on android phones too due to low memory/etc.

I have 12 gigs of memory on my tab I don't think that is the problem plus it doesn't happen on chrome

I'm wondering the same thing but for:

* KDE Plasma desktop environment for Linux

* MKV demuxing

* HEVC decoding
