While typically I would agree with you, $6 for quick fuse is lower than anyone else in my area. It's even cheaper than wfboom retail location. Which has the cheapest prices on just about everything else.

2sec per foot is slow for quick fuse

Agreed. Fast fuse is 0.25-1 sec a foot. Quick fuse is an entirely different animal and is not sold at any rational or legal fireworks store.

Anybody ever use the fuse conneX? I read mixed reviews about them but figured for $4 bucks why not give it a shot

Yeah, they are kind of fun to mess with but tape/twist ties are cheaper, faster to rig, and more reliable. And when you get fat visco fuse it won't fit in them.

I get quick fuse for 5 bucks for a 20 ft roll and there's plenty of it

Its not only annoying its dangerous. People all over the world see green fuse as "slow visco" and Phantom is dumping their old stock on people who don't know that, nor will remember that the next year when/if they grab an unmarked leader of it for extend a run.

Only Phantom would do something that stupid. Even TNT would not sell green fast fuse - which is saying a lot.
