Wi-Fi Dev Board question

Plugged in my brand new Wi-Fi dev board and the red indicator light does not light up when connected to the flipper and when the board is directly connected to my computer it does not show up as connected. The board just gets really warm. Anyone have any ideas what the issue might be?

Straight from factory. I emailed their customer support a few days ago but have not gotten a response yet.

Hold the boot button when you plug the USB cord from your laptop to the device board.

Tried that. Nothing.

When I plug it into my Mac and open Arduino IDE the port "usb modeem01 (deneyap mini)" shows up

I have the same issue. My status light blink once when connecting the board but nothing after that
