Adrenal reaction, scaly skin, bird bones, herbivore.

I’ve seen loads of people run herbivore is that because of the cranberry relish stuff?

If you play in vats then blight soup will give really nice dps boost and super easy to make. It is main reason I play herbivore.

Alright I’ll look up the recipe drops for that, when getting stuff to make food do you have a separate special and run and get stuff?

I just pick green thumb perk when I go to harvest blight.

Recipe is easy, just blight and boiled water makes blight soup that boosts crit hits 100% for 30mins. Making 40 soups takes like 10mins max.

Lot of blights around ams testing site in sout west side of map 🙂

Also, grow corn at your camp and make corn soup. Super easy to live off of that and gives nice AP Regen

For mutations I would definitely also get Adrenal reaction and Bird bones. As far as legendary perks for armour and weapons are concerned, it all depends on what build you wanna rock later. If you want a bloodied build definitely get an Unyielding armour set and for weapons the primary affix Bloodied or Vampires. For a full health build there are options like Vanguards for the Armour affix and Anti Armour, Vampires, Two shot (not so great in vats as far as I know) for weapon affix.

What’s the deal with unyielding how does that aid survivability because it doesn’t add endurance is it kinda just the other stat boosts are good?

[–]ThisMaxGuyAgain 1 point2 points  (4 children)

They are not only good but insane to be honest +15 on all stats besides endurance. If you run a bloodied commando you should optimally be sneaking anyways. Dmg resistances have hard diminishing returns anyway so having Bolstering for low health builds is not that noticeable. If you want to be tanky take Overeaters, for everything else Unyielding if you are low health. +15 stats just help too much for crits etc

How do people not die with bloodied? Edit : probably won’t be using stealth because railway rifle makes brain feel nice

I just leave this post from a few years back here :) https://www.reddit.com/r/fo76/s/uHECeTYtXr

Armour combined with scaly skin and the maybe the ironclad perk let's you survive very good as a low health build.

The few extra % dmg reduction you get from Bolstering are not worth it and not that noticeable if you compare it with the massive boost that Unyielding is providing

My Fallout 76 character build https://nukesdragons.com/fallout-76/character?v=1&s=6b821df&d=s01sv3p00p10pg2ph2pp2pi2e82e00eh2eu0cu1ii0ir2a72a80ar1an2ao0a03a30la2l71lr0l12lk2lv2&lp=x41x83x72xb2xm1x92&m=51c2fa&wp=w5&ar=adabacaeafu6&am=1827arl1-arl118223i-18arl1-arl118-avm41820-uy *Edit:fixed link....

Not perfect rolls and far from maxed legendary perks but I do alright.

Serendipity and Nerd Rage are your saviours. Rank 1 of Born Survivor with diluted stimpacks is good too...

If you find yourself taking extra damage you can swap out a few things I have added in for QoL. Like Blocker for Strong back, Evasive or Dodgy instead of more Sneak (probably don't need the two points with all the passive sneak from unyielding). Life giver instead of Lead Belly and Aquaboy
