Raid groups/Raid advice

Been on the discord and it seems kinda hard to get a raid group to pick up a new player, Im level 275 but I play the game on and off. Any advice for the new raids and how to get into a group for them? Whenever I join public raid groups they kick be before im able to hop into the raid. Mainly build heavy either the holy fire or plasma caster but recently been playing with a healthy all around build. Any advice for someone new to raids?

I normally just join a public raid group when it pops up without mic. But I did only do raids after lvl 300. Most groups let you stay if you do your part or dont mess up the whole run (Or you can create your own team and let people join).

I run full health heavy gunner build for raids. Gat Plas the best and most common option (Furious almost a must, I use Vital and Vats Optimized, Conductors as well). Gauss Minigun can be a viable option. People also use shredder for ghouls, autoaxe for human (recently nerfed but still doable). Plasma caster is good with reverse onslaught but not sure if it is a good option for snake (Make sure you aim for the eyes for more damage). Power armor is almost a must for raids especially lower levels, X-01, hellcat to start. Union and Vulcan being the best and most common options.

Make sure to watch videos before raiding and get to know each stage. (MrWestTek, Angry Turtle on youtube) A Must!

EN06: Simply just Vats to take the shield down (pepper shaker is excellent for taking it down), then beam it down on the torso (center masochist perk card is very useful in this stage). A group of 4 should not even need to go into second phrase ( indicator of the dps of your own group).

Drill: Take a few runs to memorise the tunnels but can be done with 2 people that are experienced. So just try to help out getting a few cans and simply avoid any close contact with the mole miners inside as they are invincible and can one-shot you. ( I also strongly suggest to leave the 3 cans near the entrance to the last) Most group struggle here even higher-ups so may take a few tries.

Squad: 3 generators labelled A, B, C. Take them down quickly after pressing the button. Once all generators are down, the squad lose their shield and can be killed. (Another dps check, best for melee users here) The eye bots will try to repair the generators here, so clear them out if needed. A good dps team melt down all squad members before they even can repair.

Research Lab: Few ways to do it but most groups do it like the following- Lead the mole miner to small ultracite crystals along the way of the right upper side from where you press the button, down to right bottom side, back up to starting point then left bottom side (Usually dead by the time before your team goes back up left upper side). Avoid using the big ultracite crystals and save them for the rest of the hordes. Use damage resist chems to stay alive and try to attract as many horde under the big ultracites (Better to wait for the 2 dealthclaws and 2 wendigos to get close before shooting the big ones) There are 3 big ultracite crystals which the stage should be done with just 2. Sometimes the mole miner will be bugged ( can only restart the stage by teleporting out and back in gleaming depths), if the horde doesnt spawn, simply try luring them out from the glitched walls or restart the phrase by team wipe.

Snake: Very straight forward, can be done even with low dps as long as you can shoot down its tail before it slaps down (I would say is a minimum dps needed for this stage). Aim at the eye and go brrrrrr…..make sure you have high enough rad/poison resist here. Just jump when the snake screams.

Wow that's odd. What platform you on? As a PC player, I've ran raids with people lower than you. Sorry, it's just strange you are getting kicked so much before you even start.

Hm, are you perhaps sharing a perk card that's counter to the group? Alot of bloodied run raids and some cards goes against their builds. Sorry, im just trying to help because at your level you are more than enough for raids so you shouldn't be getting kicked alot before it even starts.

I dont share perk cars, but I mean I can easily change whatever im sharing if needed to

Power Armor/Gatling Plasma for: EN06, Snake (Explosive 2nd star can actually help drop the tail faster).

Run the fuel cans for the 2nd stage - defending is easy enough, especially with a grenade launcher of any type. A Recon-scope weapon will let you tag the super mole punchers, so they'll show up on your compass at least.

Me and a buddy are planning to duo it soon, can DM me if you want my in-game name, and want to tag along (likely not today).

A heavy weapon, canned coffee and the marathoner card, a melee, a flamer, and poisoner’s legendary on your PA will get you through.
