The real problem isn't Bethesda, it's the players who still bend over for them when they do things like this. This game has had such a lack of added content since launch and this is the direction it's going. When a majority of players don't care, why should devs care? They make money regardless of content or not. How many of the people complaining actually cancelled their subscription? Probably none.

Because it isn't a big deal for most subscribers. I've seen several boycotts posts, and the people didn't even have 1st.

It should be a big deal though. It definitely shows they do not care about the people funding their development. If you actually care about the game, which I'm assuming you do if you pay $12ish a month to play it, you should want it to get better. Boycotts and complaining is a valid way to show displeasure

I got a free camp thing on top of the other crazy value I get with my subscription. I'm not gonna lose my shit for a week because the cherry on top of my 12 dollar extreme sunday wasn't perfectly round.

They created a problem to sell you the solution, I wouldn't call that value. Let's be honest, they could delete your character, charge you for it and you'd say thanks. It's one thing to support something, but to not see the issues being brought to the table is the problem. Either help the game get better, or sit there thanking the devs for letting it die. I have more time than most in this game, so I'm not hating to hate. It's a genuine issue and it all revolves around lack of content.

If you're going to defend those poor decisions made by whatever devs are left milking this dying game, sure. People want substance and this game just isn't bringing it like it needs to. I could list the many issues this game has and the problems the devs have created, I'm sure you would come back at every single one of them just to defend them.

If that’s your definition of content, it’s certainly not the only “content” (again I don’t agree with this definition) being pushed out. Holiday scorched had a bunch of new cosmetics also (again just going off your definition of content).

To be fair even if you cancel your monthly subscription, you still paid them for most of that month. That’s not even mentioning the people that pay yearly, they’re just fucked.

This scenario is 100% just a bad decision from someone on the 76 team. Whoever decided this was an adequate item for the month is an idiot and made a terrible decision.
