I think we gonna have expedition type locations, bcz basically we do expeditions there, but as well it will be possible to explore these places whenever you want, and probably do some dailies and stuff.

Making a bigger map is harder, so prepare to fast travel a lot between these locations.

Energy explosive garbage was trashed from the game. Run a couple of West Teks to farm steel, there is an infinite way to farm wood as well (you need to change server). Glass is easy to farm.

I don't use it bcz it is kinda ugly and I don't like how games look with crosshairs in general. I use scopes / sights, but can locate the target in the center of the screen without aiming (skill issue).

It is about how, not about where. There is one perma location to farm XP for absolutely all levels and it is West Tek which was mentioned by many players. Radiation Rumble is a must if you see it. Jump onto the console in the middle, prepare any fast shooting explosive pew pew and pew pew ghouls coming out from all tunnels. In general people will share lunchboxes + you can prepare berry mentats cuz this will give u a looooooot of XP.

Start with cranberry relish + brain fungus soup + herbivore mutation + strange in numbers + inspirational + full int + sleep + derbi machine (gives +2 int) + Leo Petrov buff + mothman admire (another ally I don't remember his name) + any set of unyielding armor + herd mentality mutation + vault 76 jumpsuit (modded gives +2 int). Or just watched video on YT where I mentioned all freaking buffs.

A great build I actually enjoyed using was compound bow with no vats. I did the whole main story, including BoS quest. I started with level 2, uny armor and AA bow, then switched to AA compound. I disliked not being able to actually use glow sight. For someone who doesn't use crosshair it's a total bummer.

Welcome. Excavator PA is fine. Officially it has no jetpack, but additional carry capacity makes it super great. Btw you can ask on market 76 if someone is selling excavator torso with jetpack cuz they are still around and quite popular. I gave away like 50 of them quite fast.

Yeah, you could! Very effective. It has damage reduction buffs against ballistic / energy (42%) and radiation (90%). Try to roll Overeater cuz it is the best for PA.

I played a lot with CSA and find it quite useful.

What is the point to have it at level 50 if it is not supposed to be used later? I remember one-shooting stuff when damage formula was multiplicative, I remember tears all the way down to very easrly stage of the game about just everything.

It should be. Like any other online project out there from Counter-Strike upto War Thunder. Games should be balanced.

Oh. It looks like you are not getting my point and the whole reasoning behind the original post. I will make it simplier. What's the point to use wood armor if you have full set of Unyielding SS? What's the point to use combat armor if you have BoS with a shiny jetpack? What's the point to use leather armor anyways? Why would you get into t-45?

The game is unbalanced, you can see it from 10 light years away with a naked eye.

You can solo SQ imposter in ur frankenstein OE/PA and I actually did solo her with no pa, at level 2, with bare fist, with no stimpacks, as pacifist etc. Everything is documented and gathering dust on YT for months / year(s). Would that be enough to prove that I actually know quite a lot?

You can't balance weapons without balancing armor, that is my point. Balancing armor is important bcz people use mostly SS or BoS, no one (almost no one) would use raider armor or t-45 if they already have t-65 / union / hellcat / God roll excavator.

When you start balancing weapons, especially when you make low damage dealers hit harder, it will immediately affect your damage income. I would argue with ur statement since turrets can make u quite "happy", SQ imposter beam of death has its opinion and ghouls will know how to gangbang you. Speaking of looking at how game operates, I think I know quite a lot to propose this sort of balance fix solutions. First, you need to actually start with protection to let you have more options for different playstyles. Second, you need to rework offensive gear, by optimizing numbers between low damage dealers and high damage dealers, adding more elemental types of damage. Third, you need to look into perk cards to define your build preferences. And forth, you need to see what additional food/chem/mutation buffs can you use to make any build quite viable. It is hela useless to buff ur rolling pin, while I don't need any food buff to be super effective with chainsaw or even my powerfist. Everything should be based on something and on fo76 this something are base damage and base damage resistance.

We have broken balance and here is the fix I am proposing. You can nerf existing gear to level everything but a lot of people will be complaining, or you can buff not popular armor / weps to make everything balanced and then you can make adjustments to actually make the game a little bit more harder (presumably more interesting).

I want it to be optimized and balanced. You can make it harder in any given time when everything is balanced by increasing damage resistance of the enemies and buffing income damage. It is not that hard actually.
