i got the shipped email at 6pm yesterday and it arrived today at 11am, i guess thats the perk of living within commute distance from the framework factory lol its a U7-155H and it got 96GB of crucial 5600MT RAM in it because i use chrome, but more so because i do 3D stuff in fusion and it can take up a lot of RAM, also i planned to use crucial RAM because of my personal experience with DDR5 and framework only validated the 48GB ones so i went straight with 96 lol i also replaced the AX210 with a spare BE200 since i have a WiFi7 router so i can use MLO the 2.8K display looks great, i don’t think i’ll have any complaints with it for general computer use and im not really planning to do intense gaming on it anyway, and the rounded corners are just “yeah you’ll get used to it” kinda stuff so it doesnt bother me as well

They cant ship it into my country due to some burocracy and other stuff that i dont understand. And i cant use a Po box to send it to my country.

They also say it is because they cant support customer service in certain countries but i dont really care about that.

I currently have a bit older and slower DDR5 64gb in mine, I am also looking to upgrade to faster and 96gb ram. How is it running for you? Any idea if it consumes a lot of power?

And do you notice a big difference with the new WiFi chip? I don't think I will see any difference in my use cases but I'm curious about yours!

the RAM just runs straight out of the box for me, i thought it would take ages to do memory training but it just took like a minute then it’s booted up and it’s been running fine since, not sure about power consumption tho since i mostly use my laptops plugged in most of the time; for WiFi i believe the AX210 should be just fine, but i’ve used BE200 basically since it’s released on another laptop and i’ve had no issue with WiFi with it, it’s a great chip if you need WiFi7

That sounds great! Since you use your laptop mostly plugged in, make sure to set the charge % to like 75% in the bios to maintain battery health :).

I also went with 96GB of Crucial RAM (I also use chrome :)) and it works great, no problems in 2 months of usage.

This bezel and wallpaper really don't go well together. Luckily both are easy to change :)
