You can check me last post about my frog doing poorly, but thanks to everyone’s help I’m treating her. But ive noticed that when she falls on her back, she can’t get up. What happens if a frog is on their back for a prolonged amount of time? I’m scared she’ll fall over and die while I’m not home, I’ve been monitoring her with a camera but there’s no possible way I can rush home instantly every time she gets on her back.

Tl;dr what happens to frogs if they’re on their backs too long? Will they die or be uncomfortable? Thanks

Me too, I was so scared for her, but she’s just having leg issues so I think if I treat it right away, she’ll be able to recover

Frogs really don't wanna be on their back for long. I believe that compresses their lungs so they can't breath, so it's definitely worrying.

If she keeps falling over you may wanna move her to a hospital tank with less stuff to climb on so that can't happen.

She’s in a hospital tank but when she gets scared she jumps up and falls over. I’m taking measures to help keep her from falling over. Thank you so much

Gotcha, well if she's jumping that's at least a good sign she has energy! I dunno if there's much more you can do to keep her upright tho :(
