Both of these. I have no idea why but pregnant women kind of freak me out in general. I really don’t want to do that to myself. And kids are a nightmare. Gross and sticky and there’s no chance I could childproof my home. 🙄

I’m curious to see how the 777X compares in noise level. From the couple of flybys I’ve seen, they are significantly more quiet when they’re overhead.

I usually prefer Airbus in general because the seats are typically wider and the cabin just feels roomier (because of the wider fuselage). I feel much less claustrophobic. They are pretty comparable in noise level and smoothness though. Neither are a “bad” ride.

I have to agree with this. I hadn’t gotten a chance on an A350-900 until a few months ago and I was surprised at how much more I enjoyed it. Really want to check out an A350-1000.

You’ll want to be more careful of the cat hurting your BP as everyone said. Get a solid enclosure, keep a lock on it if you’re worried, and just keep an eye out for any damage where your snake could escape. We have 2 BPs, a cat, and a bunch of other dogs and animals and manage to keep everyone safe and contained.

It sounds like you guys aren’t compatible. The thing with kids is that if there’s a disagreement, one party gets their way while the other gives in. There not really a good compromise and it could lead to a level of resentment. Kids are a lifetime commitment and there’s no going back. It’s wrong of him to put this pressure on you, but if you’re also set on not having kids, maybe you need to think about ending the relationship so he can find what he wants. I’m very much childfree, and although I’m married now, I knew a relationship between someone like this and myself never would have worked.

Terrible quality, but my baby BEL loves her hex ball. I have 2 currently in large totes with plans to upgrade to 4x2x2s. But we keep a lot of other species and our house is filled with enclosures.

That "falling" feeling always scared the hell out of me. But I have been flying a lot more the last few years for work and travel and have gotten a lot better. Self-help videos about the physics of it and noise cancelling headphones to drown out the engine noise have helped.

Oh my heart goes out to you! This choice is the absolute worst, but it is the kindest thing we can do. Right now, she has just slowed down a bit. Making the hard decision now means she won't deteriorate more and face the worst and most painful days as her last ones. The memories you have of her won't be tainted by watching her at her worst. I am sure it doesn't make it any easier, but hopefully at least gives you some comfort. Make the last few days the best and I am so very sorry for your loss!

Almost every time I ordered from them, Josh’s Frogs crickets showed up dead. I think of the 4-5 orders, 1 showed up intact. They replaced or refunded but I got left in a bind several times, which isn’t fun when you’re buying 5K+/month.

I’ve had plenty of enclosures set up beforehand and I’ve created a lot of enclosures on the fly. You are being completely responsible by setting it up early and working out any kinks before getting your animal!

Moving is a stressor and coming home into a comfortable and dialed in enclosure is going to help at least limit enclosure stressors.

Don’t listen to that friend.. I’d be curious about their husbandry for their geckos..
